FOUNDATION
Shift Today Ministries is built on the foundation of Jesus Christ and grounded in the truth of God’s Word. Everything we teach, share, create, and cultivate stems from our desire to help believers know Jesus, grow in His Word, gather in community, and live out their faith beyond Sunday. Our foundation is not based on trends, personalities, platforms, or programs—it is Christ. Scripture shapes our thinking, the Holy Spirit guides our growth, and the life of Jesus serves as the standard toward which we continually strive.
PRINCIPLES
Our principles are the biblical truths that anchor Shift Today Ministries. Grounded in God’s Word, they shape what we believe, guide our decisions, and govern how we serve with truth, integrity, wisdom, compassion, and honor.
HOLY BIBLE
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, written under the direction of the Holy Spirit and without error. Scripture is our supreme authority for faith, truth, and how we live.
GOD
We believe in one true and living God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, grace, and love. He is personally and compassionately involved in humanity and has provided salvation and everlasting relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.
JESUS CHRIST
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, born of a virgin and without sin. He gave His life as the perfect and final sacrifice for humanity’s sin, shedding His blood so that we could be reconciled to God.
We believe Jesus was bodily raised from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is exalted at the right hand of God. He continues His work today through the Holy Spirit and serves as our High Priest and advocate for all who place their faith in Him.
PEOPLE
We believe God created people in His image and for relationship with Him. Through humanity’s disobedience and sin, people became separated from God and subject to the brokenness and consequences of a fallen world. We believe no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace. Through faith in Jesus Christ, people can be forgiven, restored, reconciled to God, and receive new life in Him.
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God, co-equal and eternal with the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit reveals our need for God, leads people to the saving grace found in Jesus Christ, and continues transforming the hearts and minds of believers. He helps, guides, comforts, teaches, empowers, and consecrates God’s people for righteous living. He also gives spiritual gifts to believers for serving others, building the Church, and advancing God’s Kingdom.
THE CHURCH
We believe the Church is established by God and is the Body of Christ, made up of people redeemed through Jesus Christ. The Church gathers to worship, pray, learn God’s Word, grow spiritually, encourage one another, and observe baptism and communion. We are also commissioned by Jesus to go into the world, share the Gospel, make disciples, serve others, and demonstrate His love in everyday life.
RETURN OF CHRIST
We believe Jesus Christ will return to the earth at God’s appointed time. His return is the blessed hope of the Church. We believe in the resurrection of both believers and unbelievers and in God’s final judgment. Those who reject Jesus Christ will remain eternally separated from God, while those who belong to Christ will live forever in God’s glorious presence in resurrected bodies, worshiping and serving Him for eternity. Jesus is the center. Scripture is our standard. Transformation is our pursuit.
