Be An Unshakable Person

Recession-Proof Your Life and Leadership with Faith

SCRIPTURE:
Psalm 20:7 (AMP)
"Some trust in chariots and some in horses, But we will remember and trust in the name of the Lord our God."
DEVO:
When pressure rises across culture, economy, and relationships, God calls us back to one anchor: trust in His Name above every system. Consider Noah’s life—he reminds us that God prepares people before He promotes them. Before the rain came, before the rescue, before the recognition, Noah built. This is not unique; Scripture repeats this pattern. For example, Abraham, Joseph, Moses, David, Ruth, Esther, Peter, and Paul were all prepared, pruned, and then positioned. This leads us to a core principle: recession-proof faith is not denial; it is spiritual depth. This means shifting your security from trends to truth, strengthening your spirit through daily hearing of the Word, and stewarding with wisdom rather than fear. Faith and strategy must work together, but remember: strategy without stability in God cannot sustain destiny. Ultimately, God is after prepared messengers, not polished performances. So build character before visibility, and your life will stand when everything else shifts.
PRAYER:
Father, anchor my heart in what cannot be shaken. Prune my character to match my calling.
Make me prepared, not polished. Replace fear with faith. Teach me to trust Your Name above every system. Let my life be unshakeable because You are unchangeable and Your Spirit is sustaining me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
