Our Precepts

Our precepts are God's guiding principles consisting of indisputable trademarks for the ministry.  We have endorsed our precepts that serves as the source of what we believe concerning truth, integrity, and honorable conduct.

HOLY BIBLE

We believe that the Holy Bible is God’s Word, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit without error and that it is the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13

GOD

We believe that God is an infinite Spirit that exists in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the only one true living God, who is perfect in holiness, grace, wisdom, power, and love. We believe that He concerns Himself compassionately in the affairs of humanity by providing salvation for all and offering an incredible everlasting relationship through Jesus Christ.

Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 Timothy 2:5; John 1:1

JESUS CHRIST

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and virgin born son of man that lived a sinless life. He came into the world to die a sacrificial death, offering His sinless body and atoning blood as God's final appeal for the penalty of humanity's sin and the repercussions of sin.  We believe in Jesus Christ bodily ascension from the dead and is exalted to the right hand of God and is still actively at work today through the Holy Spirit as High Priest to all who exercise their faith in Him.

Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 Timothy 2:5; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 1:1-3

PEOPLE

We believe that God created people in His perfect image and nature.  One man’s disobedience caused all people to be eternally separated from God and fallen from their original state of being through the human free will. Since the fall, people have rebelled against God, causing hurts, habits, and hangups, and premature death.  We believe that all people can be restored and saved by God’s grace through the life-giving message of Jesus Christ.

Genesis 1:26; 3:1-7; Ecclesiastes 7:29; Psalm 51:5; John 6:44; Romans 3:22; Romans 5:12-21

HOLY SPIRIT

We believe the Holy Spirit is co-existent and co-equal with God the Father and Jesus the Son.  We believe the Holy Spirit is transforming the hearts and minds of people by convincing them of their sin, making them aware of their need for God’s saving grace through faith in Jesus Christ, revealing righteousness and the final judgment of unbelievers. We believe the Holy Spirit helps, guides, comforts, teaches, consecrates God’s church for righteous living, and imparts spiritual gifts to advance His kingdom.

John 14:15-17, 26; 15:26-27; 16:7-14; Acts 1:8; Acts 8:15-17; 19:2-6; Galatians 5:16

THE CHURCH

We believe that the one universal Church is divinely instituted by God. The Body of Christ—redeemed people gathering together to worship, pray, train in righteousness for spiritual growth, observe the ordinances of baptism and communion, and fulfill the great commission by making disciples of all nations through the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 16:16-18; John 17:21; Acts 2:41-42; Ephesians 1:22-23; Hebrews 10:25

RETURN OF CHRIST

We believe in Christ's return to earth as the blessed hope of the Church at God’s appointed time, and the resurrection of believers and unbelievers. At the final judgment, unbelievers who rejected Jesus Christ will be separated forever from God in a place of everlasting punishment. Believers in Christ will live in God’s glorious presence as they worship and serve Him forever in their new resurrected bodies.

Zechariah 14:5; Matthew 24:27, 30; Titus 2:13; Revelation 1:7; 19:11-14; 20:1-6
