SCRIPTURE:
Matthew 11:28-30 (The Message)
"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me - watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."

DEVO:
Jesus speaks directly to the tired, the worn out, and those burned out on religious acts trying to “do life right,” and He doesn’t offer another instruction—He offers Himself. “Come to me,” He says, not to prove anything, but to recover your life. This invitation isn’t about escaping responsibility; it’s about releasing pressure. Jesus introduces a new way of living in which your progress is learned through closeness, not strain, and in which obedience flows from relationship, not force. When you take on His yoke, you discover it fits—it doesn’t weigh you down or wear you out. Alignment happens when you stop measuring your faith by how much you’re doing and start receiving it as a gift of grace. In His presence, rest becomes productive, progress becomes peaceful, and fruit grows without striving. This is the faith Jesus restores—lighter, simpler, and anchored in trust.

PRAYER:
Jesus, I receive Your rest and release the need to strive. I desire to walk and work with You and watch how You do things with an unforced rhythm of grace.

This week, notice where your life feels heavy or pressured. Bring that weight to Jesus in prayer, and intentionally choose one area where you will walk and work with Him rather than striving on your own.
