Watch Three is a critical nighttime period when the enemy is most crafty and active. Those who are spiritually awake can engage in battles through prayer. Sleeping at midnight leaves people vulnerable to the enemy's schemes and can help accelerate his plans. People in deep REM sleep are not alert enough to prevent the enemy's tactics.

During the second watch, intercessors strengthen their spirits to overcome spiritual warfare effectively in Watch Three. They do this by covering themselves with the protection of the blood of Jesus and being fully clothed in the armor of the Lord. This preparation allows them to stand fortified and undefiled, ready to face any spiritual battle. Entering warfare unclean hinders progression in prayer.

12:00 AM—3:00 AM are the witching hours. Intercessors, spiritually ready, enter into the heavenly realms, releasing high praises, worship, strategic decrees, and prayers against satanic attacks on their lives. Family members bound by bondage are loosed, prayers against marital attacks, threats targeted against ministries and businesses, and disunity sown in churches, cities, communities, governments, and nations are nullified, and unity is declared at this time.

Pray for the protection of firstborns who have naturally and spiritually inherited the birthright of leadership and judicial authority from God. May judgment fall upon anyone seeking to harm them. Deal decisively with personal attacks, interference, malicious manipulation, and sorcery. Counterattack the adversary with the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, and deploy the angelic host for warfare and deliverance to watch, protect, and dismantle curses released while asleep.
