WATCH ONE
6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
"Covenant Renewal"
As the sun sets, heaven draws near. This is a sacred threshold where covenant moments unfold. Just as Abram fell into a deep sleep and encountered God’s covenant in Genesis 15, this first watch invites us to be still and let God speak. In this quieting hour, God reveals what lies ahead—not to alarm us, but to assure us that His covenant remains, even in seasons of darkness.
Prayer Watch One awakens our spiritual awareness. It is here that Isaac, in the stillness of evening, lifted his eyes and saw the fulfillment of a promise approaching (Genesis 24:63). This is a time to meditate on God’s Word, not just to remember what He said, but to recognize what He’s doing. In the soft shadows of evening, God invites us to return to the altar of trust, to reflect and realign with His faithful covenant.
The first prayer watch in the evening is not a time of passivity or winding down—it’s a moment charged with divine activity. As the day ends, God’s presence is still moving, bringing healing, deliverance, and restoration to those who draw near. This is a powerful hour to lift up praise, because God remains faithful from beginning to end. It's a time to believe again—He still sees what concerns you, He still cares deeply, and He still takes action. His covenant with you is not distant; it is active, alive, and full of promise.

Psalm 113:3

Mark 1:32-34
When the sun went down, everyone who had anyone sick with some ailment brought them to him. One by one he "Jesus" placed his hands on them and healed them. Demons left in droves, screaming, "Son of God! You're the Son of God!" But he shut them up, refusing to let them speak because they knew too much, knew him to be the Messiah.
Luke 4:40-41
When evening came, the disciples came to Him and said, "This is an isolated place, and the hour is already late; send the crowds away so that they may go into the villages and buy food."
Matthew 14:15
"But now I tell the people of Israel this is my new agreement: ‘The time will come when I, the Lord, will write my laws on their minds and hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. Not one of them will have to teach another to know me, their Lord. All of them will know me, no matter who they are. I will treat them with kindness, even though they are wicked.
