With God

You Are Never Doing Life Alone
“For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:37 (NASB 1995)

Hey Believer,

Have you ever been standing somewhere completely ordinary—driving, shopping, making a decision, sitting in your own thoughts—and suddenly needed to remind yourself, God is with me?

I do this a lot. Sometimes I catch myself whispering, God is with me. Not because I forgot what I believe, but because my feelings and my situations need the reminder my faith already knows.

Luke 1:37 was spoken right in the middle of something that looked impossible. Mary had just heard what God was about to do, and the angel reminded her: nothing is impossible with God. This is not a one-time thing.

All through Scripture, we see the same pattern. Joseph prospered because the Lord was with him. Isaac was blessed in famine. David succeeded because God was with him. Hezekiah prospered wherever he went because the Lord was with him.

See the pattern? Their circumstances were not always easy, but they were never alone.

Joseph still had a pit. Daniel still had lions and Goliath. Isaac still had famine. And Gideon? Scared as all get out—and God was still with him.

God being with us does not mean we skip every hard place. It means the hard place does not get the final word.

That changes how we walk through life.

When I remember God is with me, I do not have to panic first. I can pause. Listen. Pray. Make the decision. Take the step. Breathe again.

Sometimes we ask God to get us out of the situation, when His first gift is Himself right in the middle of it.

That will preach all by itself!

The more we practice the presence of God, the more we notice Him in the ordinary. Not because He just showed up, but because we finally realized He was already there.

Believer, try this with me this week: when uncertainty shows up, whisper, God is with me. When fear rises, say it again. When you walk into a room, make a decision, send the email, sit in traffic, or face something you did not plan for, remind your soul: I am not doing this alone.

God is with me.

And when we really believe that, it changes how we carry the moment.

Let’s Pray:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, thank You that You are always with me. I know that I am not alone. Your presence is everything to me. Gently remind me, when I face a challenge or uncertainty, that You are with me. Let Your presence bring comfort, assurance, peace, and joy. Amen.

You might be facing something unfamiliar, but you are not facing it alone.

If someone came to mind while reading today’s blog, share it and encourage them. And in the comments, tell us where you are reminding yourself this week: God is with me.

Until next time...

Let this one linger,
— Nina
