SCRIPTURE:
2 Timothy 3:16 (NASB)
“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness.”

DEVO:
Alignment doesn’t begin with effort—it begins with order, and God brings that order through four simple, sustaining practices: conviction, confession, community, and calendar. When God’s Word becomes our final authority, conviction settles the heart, and wisdom finds its place. As we align our confession with His truth, our minds are trained, and our direction steadied, because faith has always spoken before it sees. Alignment is not meant to be lived out alone; community strengthens what conviction establishes, reminding us that we are formed together as one body, seen, known, and supported in our growth.

Finally, alignment must be protected through the calendar, because what we schedule reveals what we believe—our time quietly confessing our priorities. These four rhythms do not rush us; they anchor us, moving us from inspiration into transformation as belief takes root and life begins to follow.

PRAYER:

Holy Spirit, help me to align my heart and will with Your Word, my mind with Your truth, and my steps with Your will. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Which of these four practices—Conviction, Confession, Community, or Calendar—will you bring into alignment to start your new year?
